Welcome to the 2025 Petro-Canada Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence (FACE) Program!
This program is designed for non-carded, developing Canadian athletes to provide additional support to help them meet Sport Canada’s carding criteria. Suncor Energy, the proud owner of Petro-Canada, chooses a total of 55 athlete-coach Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls of which each athlete and coach receives $5,000 to support their training and competition expenses for a total of $10,000 per pair. The purpose of the funding is to put the money towards something that will benefit the development of both the athlete and coach.
